Ian Griffiths BSc (Hons) Podiatric Medicine
Musculoskeletal Podiatrist

Ian completed his BSc (Hons) Podiatry degree at University College Northampton. He has since been employed in NHS trusts practising within the fields of nail surgery, podopaediatrics, biomechanics and foot & ankle triage.

More recently Ian attained a Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Studies (Sports Podiatry) and was awarded a letter of commendation for outstanding academic achievement following completion of his studies. He is particularly interested in gait analysis and the mechanical causes of soft tissue injuries, and strongly believes in a multi-disciplinary approach to injury treatment and prevention. He regularly volunteers at the Flora London Marathon, as well as being a member of the medical team at the Flora Silverstone Half Marathon.

Ian currently works for Health and Fitness Solutions (HFS) in London.

Katriona Macklin MSc PG.Dip BSc (Hons) MChS
Musculoskeletal Podiatrist

Katriona is an experienced podiatrist specialising in biomechanics and musculoskeletal injuries.Katriona has BSc. (Hons) in Podiatric Medicine, a post graduate certificate in musculoskeletal diagnosis and in July 2007 she gained an MSc. in Clinical Podiatric Medicine. She was awarded Distinction for the research she conducted on the effects of calf stretching on dynamic foot function.

Katriona has extensive experience in both NHS and private practices and she currently works in several podiatry and physiotherapy practices in London.

Kate Carter MSc PG.Dip BSc (Hons) MChS
Podiatrist of Paediatrics

Kate Carter is an experienced podiatrist with a special interest in children's feet (podopaediatrics). Kate studied at the London Foot Hospital and School of Podiatric Medicine and gained a first class degree in podiatric medicine. Kate has since gained an MSc in Clinical Biomechanics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Podiatric Biomechanics.

Since qualifying, Kate has worked both within the NHS and private sector and is currently employed as the Lead Podiatrist in Children and Young Peoples Services for an NHS trust in south London.
